INSTRUMENTATION FACILITIES:


The following Instrumentation facilities are available at our RUSA - Centralized Instrumentation Laboratory for the use of faculties, Research scholars of other Colleges, R & D Department of Industries and other Government and private Organizations. Sample submitting Form is available in our college website (www.tgac.ac.in).

 Infra-Red Spectrophotometer (FT-IR)
Model: Perkin Elmer Spectrum Two FT-IR/SP 10 Software.

The spectrum Two spectrometer, based on a new Dynascan interferometer with KBr optics delivers a scan range of 8300-350 cm-1 whilst offering 0.5cm-1 resolution and 9300:1 peak-peak signal-to-noise for 5 seconds scan in a sleek, compact design.
FT-IR ATR with Diamond crystal Accessory.
KBr pellet Technique and ATR technique for solid samples.
KBr cell Technique for liquid samples.
Scan Range: 350-8300cm-1.
Spectral Resolution: 0.5 cm-1 std.
Wave length precision: Better than 0.01 cm-1 at 3000 cm-1.
Wavelength Accuracy: 0.1 cm-1 to 3000 cm-1.

UV-Visible Spectrometer:

Model: Perkin Elmer Lambda 365.
Wavelength Range: 190-1100 nm.
Absorbance Range:  4 A
Band width: 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 20 nm variable
Wavelength Accuracy:  0.1 nm
Wavelength Reproducibility:  0.1 nm

Baseline flatness:  0.0005 A
Scan speed: Variable 1 to 3000 nm/min.
